About

"When you realise how perfect everything is, you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky."

Our engineer has been recording for more than 20 years. From the South to the North of the UK, with a spell Down under between. Working with many bands and record labels along the way, from founder members of The Yardbirds, Fleetwood Mac and The Noisettes to independent labels Kill Rock Stars, Bad Jazz, Track & Field & more. So, with that minimalist biog out of the way, lets move forward.

It’s all about the music. Your music. Getting creative, realising those well rehearsed songs into a tangible format for the world to marvel at – or even just keep it to yourself, if that’s what you so wish. Maybe you have had a long lasting desire to step up to the mic, lay guitar tracks down, put a bunch of like-minded folk together and record a favourite tune. Perhaps you’re on the 33rd album (or was it their 32nd? Can’t quite recall the exact number…), or the ‘tricky’ 2nd. We like to work on a project basis, discuss your requirements and then talk about the budget. It’s more of a case-by-case situation, circumstances are different for us all .

Blending analogue & digital audio, Green Buddha Studio have a T 24 console made by “the father of British EQ” and Trident, John Oram. Additional mic preamps by Audient and Trident. Microphones by Neumann, AKG, Sennheiser, Oktava, SE, Beyer dynamic etc. Precise world class monitoring through Neumann, Tannoy and Adam Audio systems with AD/DA conversion via Ferrofish A32 and RME. Instruments, amplification and studio drum kit (you would need cymbals & snare) are available, although do carry additional rates. Video editing shall be available in the coming months, keep an eye out on the blog for updates.

The studio comprises of a Control Room, Live Room, Drum Room and, because tea is a necessity, a kitchen area.
